Steve Nugent began his career in complementary healthcare as a nutrition consultant in 1977. He has since earned multiple degrees, graduating with top honors at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In 1989, he enrolled in a Professional Development Degree (PDD) program at the University of Michigan, Dearborn, and graduated with top honors.

Steve’s PDD in Behavioral Science included studies in neuropsychology, biological anthropology and nutrition science. With more than two decades of clinical practice, he brings a wealth of experience in the application of dietary supplements and continues to share his knowledge for the benefit of others. He has served as President of the International Association of Complementary Medicine and as President Emeritus of the American Naturopathic Medical Association.
